All coffee is roasted on Tuesdays. Orders for local delivery will be delivered 2-3 days following their roast date. All orders that need to be shipped will go out within 2 days from their roast date. This planning helps us manage our roasting effectively and ensure that you get the freshest coffee possible!
Peru Esther Fernandez
We are super excited to bring in this delicious coffee from Esther Fernandez’s farm in the Colasay community of the Cajamarca region in Peru. Esther, a third-generation coffee farmer, oversees all operations on her 1.5 hectare farm where this microlot hails from. This coffee, selected as a Royal Coffee Crown Jewel, is complex and fruit-forward, boasting notes of green apple, caramel, and passionfruit.
- Light/Medium: This is a lovely coffee at the light/medium roast points. It’s sweet, silky, and complex. Some of the notes we find are of green apple, caramel, passionfruit, candied ginger, and lime.
- Dark: Although we think this coffee is best enjoyed at the lighter roast points, it’s still a smooth drinker at the darker roast points. The cup is a bit roasty/toasty with notes of caramel, brown sugar, and a bit of tropical fruit poking through.
